Celebrating the Future of Apparel Manufacturing, Innovation, and Community: ISAIC to Host Fourth Annual ISAIC Honors in New Expanded Space at CCS Taubman Center
DETROIT, MI — The Industrial Sewing and Innovation Center (ISAIC), a Detroit-based nonprofit and national resource for advanced apparel and textile manufacturing, will host its fourth annual ISAIC Honors Award Ceremony on April 23 at 5 p.m., co-hosted by SPESA. The event will take place in ISAIC’s new expanded home within the College for Creative Studies’ A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education, marking a major milestone in the organization’s growth and impact.
ISAIC Honors celebrates and amplifies the achievements of the unsung pioneers shaping the textile and apparel industry. Industry leaders from across the country will gather in Detroit to recognize manufacturers, innovators, champions, and future leaders who are advancing a more ethical, sustainable, and responsible future for the industry.
“Not only does this momentous move represent the continued growth of ISAIC, but it also reflects the future of apparel manufacturing and innovation,” said ISAIC Co-Founder, CEO & President Jen Guarino. “We can’t think of a better way to mark this next chapter than by celebrating the individuals and organizations directly driving the industry forward.”

Manufacturer of the Year: Eduardo Dominguez, Vice President of Manufacturing, Goodwill Industries of South Florida
Champion of the Year: Molly Hemstreet, Co-Executive Director, Industrial Commons
Innovator of the Year: Dustin White, CEO, LAB Denim
Future Leader of the Year: Tiffany Radon, Senior Manager of Technical Design, Carhartt
Alumni of the Year: Majesty Hope Bland, Founder, Majesty Hope
Guests will be welcomed with a cocktail reception featuring live entertainment and a showcase featuring demos and displays from local and national partners and talent. The event also serves as the formal unveiling of ISAIC’s expanded facility, which will significantly increase access to advanced apparel manufacturing technology, a fully equipped classroom, and hands-on training opportunities for job seekers, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals. The space will also offer new and expanded opportunities for industry partnership through innovation pilots and demos, training on new technologies, and expanded production opportunities.
The event is co-hosted by SPESA, The Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas, a longtime supporter of ISAIC. SPESA is the industry association for suppliers to the sewn products industry and is widely recognized as a leading voice for the sector, providing high-quality networking, education, and advocacy to advance member businesses globally.
