SUBLIMATION PRINTING

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to sublimation printing using our Mimaki Printer, starting with an overview of how the technology works and how it’s used in textile production.

Each participant is invited to bring one high-resolution image (JPEG, PNG, or PDF) to be printed onto fabric during the session which can be turned into either a stuffed animal or shirt.

Please note all images need to adhere to ISAIC's guidelines and cannot be offensive, vulgar, or offensive in nature.

MAKE YOUR OWN DRESS SHIRT

In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own custom dress shirt. All materials are provided, along with optional training and assistance throughout the session.

Join ISAIC in learning and using our in-house pin-felting machine to create a festive take-home creation, uniquely made by you!

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn about textile waste, try out our 60” FeltLOOM machine, and create a item using your own materials plus scraps from ISAIC, Carhartt & partners.

No experience necessary, all ages welcome, and all materials provided.

Those who joined to learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator with the goal to create original artwork as vector images for fashion. Create flat patterns, technical flats, textile designs and more.

MAKE YOUR OWN T-SHIRT

In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own custom t-shirt. All materials are provided, along with optional training and assistance throughout the session.

The workshop runs for four hours, including a 30-minute break. By the end, each participant will leave with a handmade t-shirt to their size and design preferences.

TECHPACKER

Techpacker is a web-based tool for creating and managing tech packs for apparel and textile products. Using Techpacker simplifies the process of creating a tech pack from scratch. At ISAIC we learned to create a tech pack to prepare for manufacturing.

Digitpen

DIGITPEN

In this workshop participants will be introduce to DigitPen, a tool that allows creatives to digitize physical patterns. ISAIC will virtually share a training video to participants introducing the tool, what it does, and how to use it. Then, participants must complete a quiz to sign up for a time slot to digitize their own pattern in person at ISAIC.

2-hour time slots will be available from 8am-4pm November 1, November 7, and November 14. Time slots are available on a first-come first-served basis.

DESIGN2MANUFACTURING (D2M) INFO SESSION

February 6th, 13th & 20th 2026 (Virtual or In Person at ISAIC)

Sign up for a conversation with ISAIC about the Design2Manufacturing (D2M) Grant and to receive personalized feedback on your project ideas!

Participants should bring any project specific samples, materials, tech packs, etc. for review. Sessions can either be in-person at ISAIC or virtual and must be specified upon registration and will last for approximately 30 minutes.

SINGLE PLY LASER CUTTING

As a part of our Entrepreneur Workshop series, participants will learn how to use our TukaTech single ply laser cutter. This high speed, single ply laser cutting machine is engineered for sampling, product development, or on demand manufacturing. It cuts 4x faster than a single laser, requires only one operator, and cuts almost any material.
