Partnering with Pryor Learning: Empowering ISAIC Employees to Upskill

At ISAIC, we understand that we aren't experts in everything, and that's why we partner with organizations that have the resources to meet our needs. One such organization that has been instrumental in our team's professional development is Pryor Learning. With over 9,000 training options available, both live and online, Pryor offers a cloud-based learning environment that can help upskill employees in a wide range of areas, from accounting and communication to compliance and HR training. 

ISAIC began using Pryor's modularized professional development training in the last quarter of 2022, and already our operators have spent countless hours learning new skills to boost their competitiveness and proficiency in various areas. To date, ISAIC employees have completed over 140 classes. Every month, we dedicate a full workday to investing in the development of our team. Operators rotate between cross-training on various innovations, Pryor professional development training, ISAIC enrichment, and business development education, depending on their designated learning track. 

One major benefit of Pryor is its accessibility, which allows the team to access courses anytime, anywhere. One user describes it as "an incredible resource, especially as I learn to navigate using Excel to create budgets for programs and understand financial projections. It even reminds me to continue my learning and shares courses that I may be interested in completing based on my prior searches." 

Katie, ISAIC's Education and Training Manager, explains “making sure we train on other critical skills in addition to sewing ensures that our workers have the best advantage in this field.  There are a wide range of jobs in this industry, and they are ever changing so we have to remain flexible.  Workers must be able to use technology tools like Office and Excel, as well as know how to handle things like business communications. Pryor helps us develop these skills in-house, at our convenience.” 

The process of obtaining access to Pryor's training platform was also straightforward. Katie reached out to the team to learn more about the tool, and once we decided to move forward with it, we received an invoice for training. The Pryor representative then released codes for employees to use to access the platform. We spent 30 minutes on onboarding the team to the platform, and everything has run smoothly ever since.
